HISTORIC BETHEL GERMAN COLONY COVID-19 SAFETY PLAN

The purpose of this plan is to reassure artists, team members, and the public that we care about their health and safety. We will communicate with everyone involved in programs, as well as the entire community our plan. This will be done through social media, local media, fliers, posters, and regular announcements to individuals.

SOCIAL DISTANCING

  • Ensure that all persons remain at least six feet apart to the greatest extent possible
  • Post signage explaining the plan for social distancing at all possible points at the facility
  • Avoid spaces that are closed, crowded, or that involve close contact

 

HYGIENE PRACTICES

  • Provide hand sanitizer at all possible locations feasible
  • Provide sanitation station
  • Provide masks
  • Encourage frequent hand washing and post signs to encourage
  • Avoid touching eyes, nose, & mouth
  • Encourage proper covering of mouth and nose with bent elbow when coughing and/or sneezing

 

OPERATIONS & STAFFING

  • Provide training to all staff
  • Ensure anyone displaying COVID symptoms do not enter the facility and preferably stay home
  • Maintain contact tracing if a staff member becomes ill

 

CLEANING & DISINFECTING

  • Establish and maintain cleaning protocols
  • Provide regular sanitation of high touch areas. Ie workstations, countertops, bathrooms, doorknobs, & tables.
  • Disinfect all common surfaces at regular intervals

 

PROGRAM SAFETY

  • Discontinue all programs if safety is a concern/issue
  • Convert programs to virtual if possible
  • Communicate that our organization is committed to the health and safety of everyone involved in programing and performances

 

PLAN UPDATES

  • This plan will be updated when needed based on CDC, Governor, OSHA, & County Health Official recommendations

 

CONTACT TRACING

  • Maintain communication with County Health Department for contact tracing
  • Maintain a log of visitors
